PIONEER invests RUB 450 million in the improvement of BOTANICA

The landscaping plan for the BOTANICA shopping and office center, covering a total area of 15,000 m², encompasses various features. These include an event area with a wave-shaped metal structure canopy as an art object, recreation areas, and co-working spaces equipped with USB chargers for outdoor meetings during the warmer seasons.

The Russian bureau WOWHAUS has managed the integration of the landscaping project with the Garden of the Future park. Additionally, the concept involves pedestrian connections to the metro and MCC Botanichesky Sad, passage to the Chinese park Huamin, and VDNKh, all designed in a cohesive style. Information steles are also planned to aid in easy navigation throughout the project.

The landscaping plan entails planting over 13,000 plants, including all-season perennial shrubs, conifers, as well as cereal and flower crops. A central design flowerbed covering 1,800 m² will mimic the wave-shaped form of the art object and will be incorporated into the promenade.

The BOTANICA shopping center building will feature restaurant and café verandas, recreational areas, and bicycle parking spaces near the entrance. Additionally, the Garden of the Future park will offer scooters and bicycles, as well as a network of designated bicycle paths.

The BOTANICA business center is expected to be completed in Q2 2024, with the landscaping to be ready for the BOTANICA shopping center’s opening in Q3 2024. This shopping center marks the final stage of the comprehensive transformation project of the Botanicheskiy Sad transport hub, following the construction of residential blocks such as LIFE Botanical Garden with a school and kindergarten, LIFE Botanical Garden-2, and YE’S BOTANICA apart-hotel.
